FAQ

How many Batomon are in Batomon Showdown?
The official Google Play listing says the game ships "with 100+ Batomons" (checked September 27, 2026), and the 1.0.0 release notes add that the Jinto region alone brought "50+ new Batomon". No complete roster is published outside the game — the in-game Batopedia is the only full list. This page tracks every monster name official sources have confirmed so far: 56 and counting.
What are the "???" monsters in the Batopedia?
The 1.0.0 patch notes' own wording: the ??? tab is "for event Batomon and mythicals". Event monsters such as Talonite, Wishwash and Basilord live there, alongside Mythicals — the rarity tier above Legendary that Alpha Crown joined in patch 1.1.0. The Mythical & Shiny guide breaks down what that means in practice.
What regions do Batomon come from?
The patch notes file them in four groups: Pantra (the launch region), Jinto (added at 1.0.0 "with 50+ new Batomon"), Event Batomon and Cross-Region Batomon. Patch 1.1.0 lists each group under its own heading, and this page follows that exact structure rather than inventing a flat alphabetical dex.
Do Shiny Batomon have different stats?
Yes, where the patch notes touch them: 1.1.0 lists separate Shiny values — Danuki's Shiny damage share moved 120% to 84%, and Torrantler's Shiny cooldown 6.5 to 5.5 seconds. The Batopedia's Star sticker is officially defined as winning a championship with a Shiny version. A per-monster Shiny table waits on in-game collection.
Why does this list not show all 100+ monsters yet?
Because the developer has never published a complete roster, and this site does not invent entries. Every name here traces to a dated official source — Steam patch notes, the itch.io devlog, or media hosted on the game's own store pages. The rest are added as they get verified in-game, one batch at a time; the coverage bar near the top shows the current count.

How many Batomon are in Batomon Showdown?

The official Google Play listing says the game ships “with 100+ Batomons”, and the 1.0.0 release notes add that the Jinto region alone brought “50+ new Batomon”. No complete roster has been published outside the game — the in-game Batopedia is the only full list. This page accounts for 56 monsters so far, each name traceable to an official source.

How this list is organized

The 1.1.0 patch notes file every rebalanced monster under four headings — Jinto Batomon, Pantra Batomon, Event Batomon, Cross-Region Batomon — and that is the structure this page keeps. Pools are not types: a monster’s type (Fire, Water, Grass, Bug and more) shows on its Batopedia card, filterable since 1.0.0, while its pool says where it comes from.

Pool What the official record says Named here so far
Pantra The launch region; 14 of its monsters got a grouped buff wave in 1.1.0 14
Jinto Added at 1.0.0 “with 50+ new Batomon”; 16 rebalanced (nerfs) plus one evolution pair in 1.1.0 18
Event Its own 1.1.0 section; these monsters live in the Batopedia’s “???” tab 3
Cross-Region Its own 1.1.0 section; one monster named 1

Strength is a different question from existence, so this page deliberately skips ratings — which of these monsters are strong after the 1.1.0 nerfs and buffs is what the Batomon tier list tracks, and what they do once assembled is the best teams page’s job. Trainers bend which of these monsters you actually see in a shop, and the trainer tier list ranks that half of the draft.

Jinto Batomon

Jinto is the bigger half of the game: the 1.0.0 notes introduced it “with 50+ new Batomon”, and the 1.1.0 patch then rebalanced sixteen of its named monsters in one sweep — the developer’s own reason being that at day 10 and beyond, Jinto teams were outputting “almost 2 times” the median DPS of Pantra teams. The eighteen below are every Jinto monster the official notes have named so far; the rest of the fifty-plus land here as they are verified in-game.

Pantra Batomon

Pantra is the region the demo shipped with, and its fourteen officially named monsters all arrive by the same route: the 1.1.0 patch buffing “some lesser played or underperforming Pantra Batomon”, in the developer’s words, to pull the region back toward Jinto’s power level. Being buffed because you underperformed is not a badge — but it does make these fourteen the patch’s clearest official statement about the region’s roster.

Electranade Rebalanced in 1.1.0 — its Shock numbers were cut (28/56/84 → 25/50/75) inside the buff wave Patch 1.1.0

Event and Cross-Region Batomon

Four officially named monsters sit outside the two regions. The three Event Batomon are also the reason the Batopedia grew a “???” tab — the 1.0.0 notes added it “for event Batomon and mythicals” — and the one Cross-Region monster is the most talked-about Batomon in the game.

Batomon Pool Official record First named in
Boomagon Cross-Region Called “still the most popular pick in the game” in the 1.1.0 notes — which then slightly nerfed it for a second straight patch Demo notes v0.8.5
Talonite Event Rarity moved Uncommon → Rare in 1.1.0, officially “a slight nerf” Patch 1.1.0
Wishwash Event The trinket rarity it grants moved up a tier in 1.1.0 Patch 1.1.0
Basilord Event Buffed in 1.1.0 for underperforming Patch 1.1.0

Boomagon being “centralizing” is the developer’s word, and it shows in team-building too — comps built around it and the teams that hate facing it both live on the best teams page.

Named in official posts, pools not yet verified

Thirteen more monsters are officially named without an official pool label, so they wait here rather than being filed under a region they may not belong to.

Batomon Where the official record names it
Geminiss Patch 1.0.0 release notes — launch-week balance change
Beetdown Hotfix v1.0.1 — balance change alongside Sukoi
Vengrieve Patch 1.1.0 bugfix — the turn-order fix cites “an enemy Vengrieve or Reapra”
Reapra Patch 1.1.0 bugfix (with Vengrieve); also the August 31 matchmaking news
Dirgefin August 31, 2026 news post — matchmaking adjusted to lower the odds of meeting strong Dirgefin, Celestia and Reapra teams
Celestia August 31, 2026 news post (same matchmaking adjustment)
Berroon Demo notes v0.8.5 — ability reworked
Craghorn Demo notes v0.8.5 — cost raised
Guardiant Demo notes v0.8.5 — rebalanced
Formiqueen Demo notes v0.8.5 — rebalanced
Mosslug Demo notes v0.8.5 — rebalanced
Thorntail Demo notes v0.8.5 — rebalanced
Stingarde Demo notes v0.8.5 — rebalanced

The seven demo-era names predate the Jinto region — the demo build never had it — but which pool each landed in after launch is exactly the kind of thing this page does not guess at.

Seen in official media, numbers still pending

Seven more monsters are confirmed by the game’s own store media rather than patch text — clearly legible in the Batopedia collection grid shown in the official store loop and the bug-collector event screenshot:

The Batopedia is the complete list — use it while this one grows

Everything this page cannot yet give you per monster, the game’s own encyclopedia documents officially. Patch 1.0.0 is the source of each of these:

  • “Added a filter to the Batopedia. You can filter Batomon by type or rarity.” — the fastest way to answer “which monsters are Fire?” or “what Legendary exists?” without any wiki.
  • “Added the Batomon inspect sheet. Right-click a monster in the shop, in battle, on an event or in the Batopedia to see its full stats, ability and evolution chain.” — per-monster numbers at three levels, exactly what the tables above are still collecting.
  • ‘Added a “???” tab to the Batopedia for event Batomon and mythicals.’ — where the uncollected tail of this list hides.
  • The Batopedia also shows entire evolution chains for multi-stage monsters, so a card like Pipskull → Ratacomb reads as one connected entry rather than two.

The level selector on each Batopedia card runs Lv 1 through Lv 4 — how those levels work, and what the game documents about them, is the leveling guide’s subject.

Mythical and Shiny Batomon

Two special marks cut across all four pools, and both are officially real. Mythical is a rarity tier above Legendary — patch 1.1.0 moved the Alpha Crown trinket up to it — and Mythical monsters live in the Batopedia’s “???” tab next to the Event pool. The game’s own trainer-select store media advertises one route in plain text: the Gamer trainer, “Gain a Mythical monster on day 9”.

Shiny variants are per-monster, with their own stats where the patch notes touch them: 1.1.0 lists Danuki’s Shiny damage share at 120% → 84% and Torrantler’s Shiny cooldown at 6.5 → 5.5 seconds, separate from their normal values. The Batopedia’s three achievement stickers include the Star, officially defined as winning a championship with a monster’s Shiny version. Which monsters have verified Mythical or Shiny forms, and every acquisition route, is the Mythical & Shiny guide’s territory.

If a monster on this page keeps beating you, the counter guide collects what the community recommends against the usual suspects, and the tier list shows where each name sits after 1.1.0. When the next balance patch lands — the developer plans them roughly every two weeks — the gameVersion badge at the top of this page tells you whether the roster record has been re-checked against it.
